How we are Saved – Our Response to the Redemptive Acts of Jesus

We are saved by faith in the gratuitous gift of our Father in Heaven through the incarnate, and redemptive acts of Jesus Christ, our acceptance of his invitation to join him on his cross and be raised again with him in Baptism, and by actively participating in his Redemptive mission here on Earth. This mission involves living lives of love, service, and justice, working for the restoration of God’s creation, and contributing to the building of God’s kingdom, all within the community of the Church, the Mystical Body of Christ.
